Module Description:
The students will become familiar with statistical methods that are important for modelling and analyzing data from Economics and Business Administration with particular focus on micro-economic data. They will get to know the properties, the advantages and the limitations of the various methods and potential solutions thereof. In empirical exercises they will also learn how to implement these methods using statistical software.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to conduct their own empirical analysis. In particular, they will be able to select, formulate and apply models and methods that are most appropriate for the analysis of empirical questions from the field of Economics and Business Administration.
