Course MOR - Model Order Reduction (by Dr. E. Jan W. ter Maten) The topic receives a lot of attention in recent research. The AMNA Group strongly participates in national and EU research projects on these topics. Results from these projects will be presented during the courses.
Model Order Reduction aims to reduce subsystems in size such that faster simulations can be made while preserving the accuracy of requested output. Uncertainty Quantification is a modern approach to efficiently provide statistical output and sensitivity to parameter variations.
The MOR part will cover the topis: - State-space formulations - Krylov methods - Balanced Truncation - Parameterized Model Order Reduction - MOR for nonlinear problems - MOR for Uncertainty Quantification
