This course aims at designing material for bilingual classes with regard to the curricular framework. Therefore, students will be asked to deal with practical implications for planning and teaching bilingually. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to teaching bilingually by contrasting the understanding of bilingual education when it comes to different subjects and school types. Furthermore, students are asked to examine the actual mode of teaching bilingually and compare it with aspects of curricula and the material currently available for schools. At last, participants are asked to design their own material and come up with ideas for potential use in classes.
